On May 27, 2023, St. Martin Coop successfully held the culminating program for the 2023 Sequential General Assembly. The celebration started with a holy mass led by Fr. Prince Lenrick Marcelo. CEO Jonjon Celestino gave the opening remarks where he mentioned the significant contributions of cooperatives worldwide in providing employment and opportunity to earn to millions of people. He encouraged the SMTCDC members to continue dreaming big, risk something & work for it together as they usually do so they can create a future where SMTCDC can provide each and every need of members be it in terms of housing, health, food, livelihood, transportation, and even their final resting place. This momentous event was also marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including Leilani Babista of PCDC and CDA Region III Director Marieta Hwang, who facilitated the oath taking ceremony of newly elected officers.
None other than Mr. Lloyd Luna graced the stage to deliver a motivational talk to promote personal growth and encourage the attendees to become responsible coop members. The program was filled with excitement as numerous prizes were awarded during the engaging games and raffle draw.
